To promote, preserve and sustain the traditions of dance movements andits cultural values by offering invaluable opportunities in training, education and performance
Ballet Eastern Dance is strongly supportive and actively involved in the community works. Our partnerships
and collaborations include organisation such as the statutory boards, non-profit arts troupe and schools. We do
dance productions and events, fund raising performances and festive seasons free public performances.
We enrich the cultural life of the community we call HOME.
In September 2010, CDAA produced its first full-length work 'Romance of the White Snake' in which Ms Tay was involved as the the Chairman for the working committee and was the choreographer for the Prologue.
The Civil Service Club engaged us for a ballet performance for the celebration of Mother's Day.
We are doing our little part to help. The sales of our honorary ticket for our dance production, Rise and Shine 2015, are all donated to The Lupus Association (Singapore).
We performed a Chinese dance for the celebration of the Singapore Botanic Gardens being inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the SG50 Jubilee Weekend Concert@Symphony Stage.
We are performing at the national event, Chingay Parade, which is an uniquely Singaporean Lunar New Year tradition.
We are part of the performers for the Prime’s Minister’s Chinese New Year Garden Party in appreciation of grassroots’ and community leaders’ contributions and work in the community, on 28 February 2016.
We are proud to host the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Summer School at our main studio.
