Educational Outreach
At Ballet Eastern Dance, we share the joy of dancing and our love for the performing arts with the community. The
traditions of dance moves and its cultural values are promoted and educated through a series of workshops, seminars and
performances, developing new audiences.
Dance workshop, demonstration, seminars and residency programmes are designed for varying ages and abilities. At these
educational outreach programms, young children and the adult participants alike are to experience and explore the elements
of time, space, engery and dance vocabulary, to respond to music and rhythm. These interactive activites help to foster
teamwork, encourage creative thinking and build friendship.
Parents and friends are invited to attend the final day of the learning programme in supporting and cultivating an
appreciation for the performing arts.
Partnering with schools and local organisations, we bring the magic and the joy of dancing to the widest audience possible.
